These celebs are our new inspiration for face mask fashion

Monday, May 18, marks the first phase of easing lockdown restrictions, and as stores begin to open, it’s looking more and more likely that face masks will become a necessity for public outings.

But wearing a mask doesn’t have to be such a stark and stringent necessity in your daily life.

Many celebrities have been embracing masks as a new type of accessory to their wardrobes, even choosing ones that match their outfits.

And it makes sense. If we have to wear one for protection, we might as well look fabulous in it by choosing masks that show off our unique flair.

Here are seven celebrities that are inspiring us to glam up our face mask game.

Cindy Crawford

As usual, the fab Cindy Crawford is starting a new trend — matching face mask ensembles.

Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish was a stunner in her Gucci face mask outfit at the Grammys back in January, so she’s kind of become a fashionable face mask icon.

Miley Cyrus

Miley completes her rockstar look with vivid, sultry eyeliner and a KISS-inspired mouth mask.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Keeping it simple, Gwyneth shopped at her local farmers’ market in an all black, sleek outfit.

Sophia Bush

The One Tree Hill star is #maskingforafriend and shared some great tips on making your own face masks from fabric scraps.

Emma Roberts

A black-and-white picnic jumpsuit, a floral facemask and hot pink gloves to boot — we are loving Emma’s creative style.

Mayim Bialik

Sporting a steely blue bandana, the Big Bang Theory star is certainly a lot more fashionable off screen than her alter ego Amy Farrah Fowler.
