Here’s where you can get free and all-day pancakes in Dublin today

Here’s where you can get free and all-day pancakes in Dublin today

Before we embark on our Lent journey of depriving ourselves of all the things we love, we have Pancake Tuesday.

It’s a tradition we welcome each year with unbridled enthusiasm – not to mention a fork, knife and jar of Nutella in hand. Many enjoy the actual making of pancakes on Shrove Tuesday, but for many more, it can cause unwanted stress. Burnt frying pans and unfluffy pancakes can lead to misery and an empty stomach.

However, if you are in Dublin today and want to make the day as easy as possible, you are in luck. Here is why…

Stella Diner

For the day that’s in it, the Stella Diner in Rathmines will be giving out one complimentary pancake with a topping to each customer and there is no purchase necessary. The Stella Diner’s fluffy American style pancakes are a mouthwatering dream and we can guarantee you will want more than one. To claim your pancake, all you have to do it visit the diner between 8 am and 10 pm today.

Dollard & Co

The lovely folks at Dollard & Co on Wellington Quay will be serving pancakes all day today. Their breakfast special – which is a feast of pancakes, crispy bacon and maple syrup – will be available throughout the day and thus fulfilling all of your pancake dreams.

And, if you prefer to get interactive and have a say in how the finished product will look and taste, you can build your own pancake in store with a choice of toppings including:

  • Chocolate sauce and mini marshmallows
  • Lemon wedge and sugar
  • Marscapone & berry compote

What’s more, if you want to attempt to make your own and really get into the spirit, you can pick up all you need in Dollard & Co. But maybe pick up a breakfast special on your way out to top it off.
