Happy Birthday Blake Lively! Her 10 Best Red Carpet Looks

25th Aug 2015

Today marks actress and entrepreneur Blake Lively’s 28th birthday. In case you were feeling like you haven’t accomplished much during your own time on this earth, Blake counts a long-running television series, some movies, Ryan Reynold’s as a husband, a baby girl and an e-commerce store that sells artisan products among her Done List. However, while we want to congratulate her on all her successes and wish her every happiness, we would also like to take time to appreciate the fact Blake has rarely set a Christian Louboutin-clad foot wrong these past few years. Here are ten of her best red carpet looks to give that girl crush some more fuel.

Of course she makes pink and turquoise jewellery match a pristine white casual-for-a-celebrity Gucci dress.

Give this woman the Faye Dunaway Network Era roles she deserves. The blue trench is, you probably guessed it, Gucci. Also, talk about magnetic eyeliner.

Blake can 1960s better than the rest of us in Michael Kors.

The hair. The rings. The cape. The Gucci dress. Blake kinda won the 2014 Met Gala.

This was one of Blake’s last public appearances before she became a mother to baby daughter James last Christmas. See, not every maternity look needs to evoke a dreary smock. Also, sighting of Blake’s trademark accessory: BANGLES.

Blake Lively is a time traveller from 1930s Chicago where she’s the genius moll behind the man everyone thinks is calling the shots. This look? Marchesa.

Oh hi Cannes! Blake went to Cannes in 2014 and was easily the best-dressed woman to ever RSVP to the yachts and cinema party. Her Gucci ensembles were the moment we truly fell for her style, and we also love the fact she attended premieres for very bad movies. Here she is in a maroon Gucci at the Grace of Monaco premiere.

Matin?e idol-ing for Captives in monochrome Gucci.

Almost too sexy at the Mr. Turner shindig.

Five minutes of respectful silence for this scarlet Monique Lhuillier Age of Adaline premiere gown from last April please.
