Hey Girl, This Is What Ryan Gosling Really Thinks About Women

Hey Girl, This Is What Ryan Gosling Really Thinks About Women

Get ready to love Ryan Gosling more than ever before (if possible). Because whether it’s thanks to his legions of teary-eyed romcom fans, a brilliant feminist-leaning meme or the birth of his two daughters, the Canadian actor harbours a profound respect for women and he isn’t afraid?to say it loud and proud.

If you put the man up on a pedestal prepare to keep him there, well, possibly forever, because in his latest interview he skipped all the boring pretence about the life of a celebrity?heartthrob and ensured the conversation was all about the ladies; he declared that women are, quite’simply, better than men.

[Women]?are stronger. More evolved.?They are better than [men]. They make me better

?They are stronger. More evolved,? he said. ?They are better than us. They make me better.?You can tell especially when you have daughters, and you see their early stages, they are just leaps and bounds beyond boys immediately.? We are down with that positive speak.

S

As well as acquiring the adulation of at least half the population way back in 2004’s The Notebook, he revealed that he’s very much in touch with his feminine side because he explained that he thinks of himself as 49 percent woman. ?Sometimes 47 percent, it depends on what day you catch me.?

I’ve always liked women more. I was brought up by my mother and older sister. I found my way into dance class. My home life now is mostly women.

And at 35 he also is the proud recipient of a feminist label with a dedicated Tumblr spawning the much-used?Hey Girl meme, leading to a spin-off which makes men more feminist, of which our favourite is: ?Hey girl, I do not need a binder of women since I have an overall commitment to fair and inclusive hiring practices at all times.?

And although he’s not a U.S. citizen, Gosling still had something to say about the race for the White House: ?I think it needs a woman’s touch.? So, he’s team Hilary, and we’re team Gosling forevermore.
