In need of a kitchen revamp? Here’s our favourites from Aldi’s new copper collection

Get your kitchen covered with the brand new collection of Aldi copper cookware, sure to make Christmas cooking a little more enticing.

With a million and one expenditures coming your way this festive season, it’s hard to imagine adding yet another to your list. However, with all the baking, roasting, toasting and brewing you’ve planned for the coming six weeks, is your kitchen ready for the wear and tear? Aldi’s latest collection is here to help, landing in all 139 stores from Sunday, November 24.

Tri-Ply copper pots

The collection not only looks super sleek and Christmassy but also keeps quality in mind. Featuring a range of tri-ply copper pans which heat up faster than your usual run-of-the-mill cookware. The saucepans also use technology that makes it easier to control temperature and distribute heat, meaning one can make finer adjustments while cooking which should (hopefully) result in more precise cooking. Starting from €14.99 for the mini pan while the large tri-ply pans go for just €44.99.

Glam gadgets

With a range of easy to use gadgets available in a copper finish or nickel-plating, the collection will have even the most reluctant of elves excited to peel potatoes. User- and pocket-friendly, choose from garlic press, ice cream scoop, pizza cutter, corkscrew, Y peeler or can opener, each only €3.99.

For endless cups of tea, hot water bottles and not to mention all the cooking, a heavy-duty kettle is essential. Aldi’s ombre-style cordless Kettle is available in copper, silver or midnight blue ombre and has an approximate capacity of 1.7 litres. The cordless design makes for less stress and the quiet boil means less noise in the hectic household.

Kettle €29.99

Coordinate your kitchen makeover with their new toaster, available in matching colours. Featuring seven toasting levels as well as reheat and defrost function, the toaster also has a removable crumb tray for easy cleaning.

Toaster €29.99

Stylish serves

Not only has the brand dropped a collection of cookware and gadgets, but Aldi has also released a range of bar bits so you won’t ever have to leave the comfort of your home to feel merry.

Featuring balloon, cosmo, long and short glasses for all your beverage needs, each comes in a pack of four for €9.99. The honeycomb design carafe could double as a vase or jug and is available in gold, copper or silver and costs just €10.99. Place atop their non-scratch mirrored drinks tray (€15.99).

And now for the easiest part – festive cocktail recipes.
