So this month I’ve been running around, reading and getting into a distinctly September-ish vibe (yes, I know it’s July!)?

BTs excitement? The IMAGE team descended onto Grafton St to attend the Brown Thomas Autumn Winter 2013 preview show. We will be scowled at for saying so in this wonderful sunshine, but it made us giddy about AW woolies! Victoria Beckham’s almost-neon orange dress is utter perfection and the coats, oh my, the coats!

Book worming? This month, I’ve had my head buried in The Vogue Factor, a biography by?former Australian Vogue editor, Kirstie Clements.? You’d think I’d be avoiding all things magazine-world in my spare time, but no – I am obsessed. This book is a seriously accurate portrayal of the industry and a pretty honest insight into some of fashion’s more controversial topics. If you want to know how it all works, give it a look.

Right on!?I popped along to Fallon & Byrne to support Ben & Jerry’s latest ice cream creation, EngageMint. Ben & Jerrys, Thinkhouse and Marriage Equality Ireland threw a real life engagement party, complete with white picket fences, hay bales, balloons and ice cream (of course) to raise awareness for gay rights and marriage legislation here in Eire. A Thinkhouse event is always guaranteed to be fun, but this was an especially moving night. Aengus MacGrianna silenced the munching crowd as he talked about his engagement to long time partner, Terry Gill, and spoke of the importance of their union to him. There was a little tear in quite a few eyes, it has to be said! It was a stellar night, utterly inspiring and so positive. Read more about it here and get involved. And try the ice cream, it’s delish.

A Musical Treat?Kodaline’s secret session in The Tannery, New South Row, was one of the best gigs I’ve witnessed (and I’ve witnessed a few!). Set up by Nokia Ireland with a little help from Irish band Miracle Bell and French film makers La Blogoth?que, the gig was an intimate session that ultimately had everyone humming all the way home. It was great to get up close and listen to a band who are destined to be huge. Keep your eyes peeled for the video they’ve made of the gig and in the meantime, listen to the band’s EP In A Perfect World?.

Kirsten & Wren? There isn’t enough Kirsten Dunst in the world, although maybe that’s why she’s so fascinating – Either way, she and boyfriend (photographer Garett Hedlund) have just collaborated with LA label Wren for their latest lookbook. Kirsten styled the looks and I love the beanies and instagram vibe. Yes, I know it’s July, but we’re working on the September issue here at IMAGE Towers, so I’m in that Autumn vibe ?
