Mary-Kate and Ashley Don’t Get Vine

Mary-Kate and Ashley Don’t Get Vine

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen at the Met Ball 2014.

Multi-millionaire and acclaimed fashion designer twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, may know a thing or a trillion about building an impeccable brand, but when it comes to new media they’re a little bit baffled/baffling.

This week at NYFW they made their Vine debut on New York Times fashion director Vanessa Friedman’s account where she described them as ?looking very zen? before the unveiling of their label The Row’s Spring 15 Collection. However, instead of acting up for the camera like a regular Cara D they chose to just stand there, barely swaying. The Olsen twins are either making a statement – they are not your performing monkeys? – or they think Vanessa is merely taking a photo.
