More Good News for George Clooney

George Clooney at awards.

While the only George Clooney news any woman seems to care about relates to his impending marital status, the man is an actor first and foremost with two Oscars and three Golden Globes under his (usually Armani) belt. Variety reports that next year’s Golden Globe Awards sees the actor honoured for his work and its impact with the Cecil B. DeMille Award, an annual award presented to someone who has “an incredible impact on the world of entertainment.”?As one of Hollywood’s most adored and able leading men, and an impressive humanitarian campaigner, Clooney seems like the ideal fit for such an honour.

George Clooney and Amal Clooney

The actor has been one of the loudest voices drawing attention to the human rights crisis in Darfur while his directorial work has attracted continous critical acclaim in recent years with movies like Good Night, And Good Luck and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind proving he is more than a jaw-droppingly handsome face. We look forward to seeing the 53-year-old and Amal Alamuddin, his fianc?e in case you’ve had amnesia, tread the red carpet next January.
