Interior designers behind the new houses at Westminster Wood, Foxrock have shared photos of their work
A collection of spacious, contemporary four-bedroom houses has recently come on the market at Westminster Wood, Foxrock. Designed by Think Contemporary Interior Design and Ferreira Architects on behalf of Winterbrook Ltd, the development showcases design flair with clever architectural details (with modern living in mind).
Built to an extremely high standard, not to mention boasting sea views and beautifully landscaped open spaces, Westminster Wood promises to satisfy “those who expect the best”.

Outside, the homes feature high-quality buff coloured brick and low maintenance coloured render facades; as well as aluminium clad triple glazed windows, zinc cladding where applicable, and limestone paving.
What’s more, each of the houses comes with two on curtilage parking spaces, with bin stores to the front.
Kitchen
Inside, there are custom-designed, fully integrated kitchens supplied by McNally Kitchens. These come with built-in LED emotion remote-controlled lights; as well as built-in recycling centres under the sinks.
Other features include sinks and taps by Blanco; fully integrated Neff cooking appliances, a dishwasher and a fridge/freezer. There are also soft-close doors and drawers; a breakfast bar, as well as utility spaces with storage and worktops.
Living space
All walls and ceilings throughout the living space are plaster-skimmed and painted in a neutral colour, which means anyone who moves in can make it their own.
Not only that, but all joinery has been painted, with contemporary high-quality chrome ironmongery throughout.
Joanne at Think Contemporary said, “We wanted to create a space that would appeal to our clients’ target market, but that would also stand out from other showhouses in today’s market. With this in mind, we designed a concept that would appeal to young families and first-time buyers, bringing bold colours and interesting elements into the space.
“Our base palette is largely neutral throughout the house, which is a mix of Colortrend Light Lichen 0211 and Colortrend Whale Bone 0203, which we offset with colourful furniture, artwork and accessories,” she added.
Bedrooms
Each of the four bedrooms is well-proportioned with lots of natural light. High ceilings, large windows and calming colours make for a pleasant sleeping environment.
Think Contemporary Interior Design has styled three of the double bedrooms with plush furnishings and modern furniture (which is in keeping with the rest of the home). Meanwhile, the fourth double bedroom has been styled as a children’s nursery.
What’s more, there are stylish fitted wardrobes supplied by Cawleys, providing ample storage space.
Energy efficiency
All of the houses at Westminster Wood, Foxrock have excellent BERs; ranging from A2 to A3. This means they are highly energy-efficient and anyone who moves in will save on energy costs.
Key features include an air-to-water heat pump; a heat recovery system with constant airflow fans allowing for 24-hour controlled ventilation; high levels of insulation in the walls, roof and floors; and an air-tightness membrane incorporated to reduce heat loss.
What’s more, there are dual-flush WC cisterns for water conservation, and electric car charging points wired to each unit.
It’s clear that no expense has been spared in the making of these four-bed homes – which explains why prices start from €875,000. Would you like to make this south-Dublin neighbourhood your home?
