The multi-million dollar nuptials of fashion blogger, Feiping Chang have taken the wedding party to a whole new level. A level of OTT, gorgeous, insanity.
The multi-day celebrations took place in Italy on the stunning island of Capri in the Bay of Naples and lavish isn’t even the word. The celebration was covered by Hong Kong Tatler LIVE. That’s right there was live coverage of this event.
?The celebration took place over the course of three days,” the bride told Tatler. “We wanted to have a very different vibe on each day. The welcome dinner [was at]?Da Paolino, a legendary restaurant in Capri that’s covered in lemon trees. The second day we took everybody out to Nerano to my favourite beach club,?La Conca del Sogno. And on the wedding day we were at Villa Lysis.?
?The government has never allowed a wedding to be done [at Villa Lysis]. It took a lot of work, but we’re so happy that we were able to help and refurbish this historical monument. We actually built an entire bridge to link the grounds of the villa to the rooftop.?
So they did a little light refurbishment and then literally decorated the trees in flowers.
A three-course dinner of Italian favourites was a hit with the guests, but it was the dessert room that stole the show. A dessert room. A ROOM of desserts. We can’t deal with this.
The wedding cake was a millefoglie a traditional Italian take on the French millefeuille, comprised of layers of cream, pastry and fresh berries and was created LIVE on the dance floor.
According to Hong Kong Tatler, the wedding dress was the most lavish and largest ever created by designer Giambattista Valli.
All the guests were gifted personalised favours.
This is the bar by which we will judge all future weddings. No dessert room, no RSVP.
