Shortlist Announced For Bord G?is Energy Irish Book Awards 2016

Calling all bookworms! The Bord G?is Energy Irish Book Awards 2016 shortlist was announced this morning and today features a diverse mix of exceptional writing from new and established writers across fourteen categories.

Now in its 11^th year, the Bord G?is Energy Irish Book Awards was founded to celebrate and promote Irish writing to lovers of reading across the country. Each year it brings together a huge community passionate about books?to recognise and celebrate the very best Irish writing talent.

Hundreds of books were submitted for consideration this year and the public are now being asked to cast their votes on the best books of the year online on the Bord G?is Energy Irish Book Awards website www.bgeirishbookawards.ie. Votes may be cast until midnight on the 12^th November 2016 and the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in Dublin’s Double Tree by Hilton Hotel on Wednesday, 16^th November.
