A special preview of Disney’s latest hit Moana took place yesterday, Sunday, November 27th, at the Odeon Point Village. ??Moana? is the story of a 16-year old Hawaiian who sets sail on a quest to find a long-lost island. The adventurous teenager sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana meets the once-mighty demigod Maui, who guides her in her quest to become a master way-finder. Together they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds. Along the way, Moana fulfils the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she always sought: her own identity.

According to Disney, their newest Princess addition Moana is ?indomitable, passionate, and a dreamer.?As well as portraying positive and forward-thinking character attributes, Moana is also the first Polynesian princess which will encourage children to learn about alternative cultures.

Moana, voiced by 14-year old Hawaiian, Auli?i Cravalho, will be in cinemas nationwide from December 2nd.
