The French brand giving us major interiors inspiration this summer

Red Edition is the latest furniture brand catching our eye.

Designed in Paris, Red Edition’s vintage-inspired designs combine old-school glamour with modern touches, making pieces that will create a statement in any home. Their bold colour palette is another reason they stand out, made even more vivid by their frequent use of sumptuous velvet.

Burnt oranges, mustard yellows and midnight blues can’t help but remind us of hot days and balmy summer nights, and accented with natural materials like cane and wood only evoke this mood even more strongly.

Newly available through Houseology, the collection features sofas, chairs, tables, and sideboards. Here are a few of our favourites.

Rattan is back with a bang this year, and we love how it’s contrasted with velvet in this sofa to create a relaxed yet plush vibe. With a sleek solid wood frame and curved shape, it’s also extremely elegant. Available in four colours, we keep coming back to this gorgeous burnt orange for its sultry sunset mood. Wicker Sofa 210, around €5,223

We’ve already admitted our love for terrazzo, so it’s no surprise we fell for this console table. It’s perfect for placing against a wall to create a display, while not taking up too much space. The yellow armchair is also another welcome pop of summer colour. Brass terrazzo console, around €1,008 and Floating armchair, around €1,796

A sleek sideboard is a great addition to a living room, providing both storage to hide away bits and bobs while providing a surface to display your favourite objects. Made from solid oak and finished in matte black, it has height-adjustable shelves and brass feet. Combined with the inky blue of this armchair, it has a luxurious feel. Matte black oak Mirror sideboard, around €2,462 and Wicker armchair, around €2,692

Go even bigger on terrazzo with this dining table, which will create a real focal point. The stone is mounted onto a wooden surface, and the table legs with graphic, minimalist lines are made of lacquered steel and a brass edging. It looks beautiful paired with these rattan dining chairs. Terrazzo Dining Table, around €2,788 and Wicker dining chair, around €676.
