Contrary to our previous beliefs, it seems like we may actually be blessed with some lovely weather this weekend. Long may it last, but even if it doesn’t, we’ll still have you covered with our perfect guide to what’s on in Dublin. Happy weekend from IMAGE!
While it’s annoyingly difficult to keep up to date with the best street art in Dublin before it’s taken down by the Council, this walking tour is a fabulous idea to get your fix all in one go. All on foot (lucky for us, the weather looks great), you’ll explore the best street art pieces the city has to offer, and there will even be an opportunity at the end to leave your own mark on Dublin’s walls. Tickets from €10.
If you’ve spent the summer on the sidelines of the 40 Foot and Dollymount strand watching sea swimmers get their fix of the water, now’s your chance to dive in (literally). On Sunday at lunchtime, the Migraine Association of Ireland are gathering in Bull Island to kick off a special session of sea swimming for first-timers who would like to give it a go in a relaxed environment. Once you’re confident enough to get in the water, feel free to let loose!
If you’re one of those people who are obsessed with Fleabag, or just, you know, someone who has eyes, then you’ll be wanting to get to the IFI on Monday to experience it all on stage. Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s West End stage version of the hit show sold out immediately, but fear not — you can watch it all on the big screen at the Irish Film Insititute. Like you’re there, but much easier to get home afterwards. Tickets from €15.
