Wagatha Christie (Rooney v Vardy) and Depp v Heard; two trials, both alike in dignity. Yet despite being separated by the Atlantic Ocean, one similarity peers through the most recent, highly-publicised cases of our time: that women’s lives are the butt of the joke.
