Here it is! The all-new IMAGE.ie! We’ve re-named the site?IMAGEdaily?to reflect our plans for delivering tons of exciting daily content to you. Here at Crofton Towers, we lovingly refer to it as IMAGE Magazine’s younger sister; she’s not as established as her elder sophisticated sibling, but she’s cool, a little edgy and can be relied on to know all the places to eat/drink/shop and who to visit them with. Of course, she’s also mustard keen to give you the heads-up on what’s inside Ireland’s best-read women’s magazine.
And I’m Ellie Balfe, the online editor. I’m also a professional make-up artist, the blogger behind?Ellie Loves?(it’s what this section is named after!) and this year’s ?Johnson & Johnson New Beauty Journalist of the Year 2013… it’s been a busy year! As a massive online junkie (aren’t we all these days?), ?I’m especially chuffed and excited to edit?IMAGEdaily. Seriously, it’s the way the world is moving; happily, the powers that be at IMAGE have listened to their readers and heard your call for more and better online content. We’re all a-buzz about it, and we hope you like it.
So what have we got for you? Well, there are six tabs, each with a dropdown menu full of a virtual kaleidescope of content. We’re talking about fashion, we’re talking about beauty and we’re talking about great people we meet. We’re talking about inspiring interiors, great food and the foodies who make it. We’re talking about books we love and places we’ve been as well as things to think about as you go through your day and how to keep well and happy in both body and soul (while wearing good shoes, of course).
I’m thrilled with our panel of IMAGE editors, freelance contributers and some amazing new talent, too. Everyone has been so positive and helpful and inspirational and I can’t thank them enough. It’s an eclectic bunch, but an interesting one and I hope, together, we can entertain and engage you on a daily basis. We’ll certainly do our best…
Ellie x
