Irish boyband Westlife are set to delight fans with the announcement of a very special gig next summer

After an extremely successful international tour, Westlife is once again returning to help us fly without wings.

The beloved band announced on Monday that they will return for a gig in Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork next summer. The date confirmed for the concert is Friday, August 28 2020.

Westlife shared the news on social media saying, “We’re over the moon to announce we’re going to be playing Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork for the first time ever next year! We can’t wait to bring this to Ireland which will be more spectacular than anything we’ve ever done before.”

Bespoke show

Concert promoters MCD said it will be a “totally bespoke show, even more spectacular than their sold-out Croke Park run earlier this summer!”

After a string of successful gigs and two sell-out concerts in Croke Park, this will be welcome news for fans. The band is also set to release a new album called Spectrum in November. This will be their first since 2010.

Tickets for the Páirc Uí Chaoimh concert will go on sale this coming Friday at 9 am. Fans can sign up for a presale today (Monday), which will begin tomorrow.
