Show & Tell returns to Smock Alley Theatre today, November 19th, with talks, workshops and a Christmas design fair.?This year, S&T features a host of experienced and innovative speakers to share their first-hand experience of operating a business within the creative industry in Ireland.?The brainchild of four enterprising women, this one-day event focuses on connecting Irish start-ups, micro and SME’s with supports and information to encourage success. Speakers include?Andrea Horan from The HunReal Issues, comedian and writer Tara Flynn, journalist Louise Bruton,?Dara Connolly from Recreate, Anna Cosgrave from the Repeal Project plus more. Tomorrow, Sunday, November 20th, Dress For Success Dublin is hosting their inaugural fundraising Disco Brunch in the fabulous surrounds of Medley on Fleet Street, Dublin 2.?The Disco Brunch is part of the groups Equal Pay Day campaign and is hoping?to raise awareness of the gender pay gap and raise funds to support more women back into the workforce.?Tickets are €35 and are available now on a ?first come, first served? basis. HALFTONE returns to The Library Project on November 24th to showcase the best recent work from artists working in print. The exhibition looks at how different printing processes coexist in a diverse range of artistic and creative practices; celebrating the printed matter in all its forms. During the exhibit, you’ll get to know the different printing techniques, learn new skills, and discover new work. In addition, all artworks will be available to purchase, making it available to a wider audience and supporting the artists. The exhibition will run for four days from November 24th to November 27th during which visitors will be invited to get involved and make their own unique prints. The Nutcracker – one of the world’s most beloved ballets – will be performed at The Gaiety Theatre Dublin tonight. Performed by?Ballet Ireland,?This timeless classic, complete with glittering costumes and Tchaikovsky’s beloved and sumptuous score, takes audiences on a wondrous adventure full of quintessential Christmas magic.?This Irish production is performed by an international cast of world-class dancers, including Hayley Cunningham and Cian Hughes, both Dublin-born.
