Last week you could hear a pin drop in Young Hollywood as Scott Eastwood, son of Clint, revealed on live television how Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore’s marriage ended after Ashton hooked up with Scott’s then girlfriend.
How did Scott manage to spill these beans? On a chat show with Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer. During an episode of Watch What Happens Live last week Scott chimed in with the tidbit while Cryer discussed working with Ashton and whether it was awkward. Cryer dated Demi back in the 1980s.
Scott, who seems like an affable guy, if a little bit socially awkward, said ?If it makes you feel any better, he did sleep with one of my ex-girlfriends. But she was my current girlfriend at the time.?
What??!! The clip is worth watching. Especially as Scott keeps digging a hole. ?I think it was the catalyst that broke him and Demi up,? the young actor said. Oh Scott. Didn’t your father ever tell you that a chat show is not a bar unless you have a scandalous memoir to shift.
Scott confirmed that he was referring to a weekend at the San Diego Hard Rock Hotel in 2011. That weekend has been mentioned in connection with Ashton and Demi’s marriage breakup, so it’s not exactly news to tabloid junkies. What’s shocking is the fact Scott Eastwood felt no compunction with sharing such details about his and three other peoples? lives.
According to Hollywood Life, Ashton is livid with the reveal. The end of his marriage to Demi Moore was something he refused to comment on and now that he’s married to Mila Kunis and a recent dad, we can imagine he’s really not in the mood for further tabloid intrusion.
However, we sense Scott is feeling somewhat invincible of late. His new movie The Longest Ride is the latest Nicholas Sparks? novel to make it to the big screen and will be released in Ireland this May. After all, The Notebook made Ryan Gosling into a veritable matinee star. What’s to stop Scott, with his movie heritage from his father and those looks, from becoming the next Gosling? He’s playing a goddamn cowboy in the movie too. Who falls for a city girl with city living ambitions. There’s a load of scenes at a rowdy rodeo. Will their love stand a chance? Hozier is singing in the trailer, so God only knows.
