Rachel McAdams, who we raved about last week, has a new boyfriend. So, kill any perverse fantasies you had about her ending up with Noah Ryan Gosling. The man is a father now and raising a daughter with his partner Eva Mendes. We all have to move on and treat the overused DVD like the fictional work of art it is.

Anyway, Allie herself is apparently dating her True Detective co-star, Taylor Kitsch, whose abs you may remember from historical sci-fi flop John Carter and cult television show Friday Night Lights. The two actors have grown closer in recent weeks, according to Us Weekly, and were spotted dining together earlier this week in Italian restaurant Mozza. If you want pizza, I want pizza. Us Weekly’s source said of the date: I don’t know if it’s full-blown love yet, but they talk constantly. They’re really into each other.?

They make a very handsome and talented pairing – and they are both Canadian! Apparently they’ve known each other for years, but this is the first time their relationship has turned romantic. Don’t know about you, but the friends-to-lovers trope is one of our favourite IRL plotlines.

Sources maintain she dated Jake Gyllenhaal earlier this year while they shot boxing drama Southpaw. And she was also with her Midnight in Paris co-star Michael Sheen, who is now dating his Masters of Sex co-star Sarah Silverman, for some years. As for Taylor Kitsch, 34, his romantic history hasn’t been as headline grabbing. He recently split from fitness instructor Jennifer Welch.
