Wednesday, July 8th 2015.

Yesterday was the penultimate day for the Haute Couture shows and was jammed packed full of gorgeous gown and wacky outfits. Wednesday saw Maison Margiela, Franck Sorbier, Elie Saab, Jean Paul Gaultier, Viktor & Rolf, and Fendi hit the runways with a wide array of designs,

Franck Sorbier’s set was a winter wonderland graced by ethereal ballerina in flawless white designs. Elie Saab went full Princess this season, with absolutely stunning gowns in golds, greens and burgundy, you can guarantee to see a few of them at the Emmys come September. Jean Paul Gaultier remained with fashions?that brought about his rise, including sailor stripes and tights with unusual circular skirts and intricate patterns. Viktor & Rolf took the artistic element quite literally as models pounded the runways wearing heavy printed fabrics edged with wooden frame pieces. As the show went on it became apparent it was some what of a puzzle as pieces were hung on the wall to create complete artworks. Fendi followed Elie Saab’s Disney theme but rather than Frozen princesses they went for Cruella DeVille with monochrome furs and feathers that sumptuously enveloped models.
