Makers & Brothers - spoons.

?We sell objects of integrity and depth, real objects from tangible beginnings, loved objects,? explains Jonathan Legge, the creative force behind Makers & Brothers, purveyors of hip handmade Irish crafts. They’ll be bringing their collection to a whole new audience this week as they open up a pop up shed in New York’s East Village. For five days from this Thursday May 15th, New Yorkers (and any Irish peeps visiting) will be able to pop into The Standard and peruse a well-edited collection of contemporary Irish design. There will also be a workshop which will see? talented Irish maker James Carroll carving a series of wooden spoons from locally sourced timber. Head here for more details?? and make sure to tweet us pics if you’re lucky enough to be visiting!
