Step inside a modern monochrome new build in Blackrock?
Dublin-based interior architect and textile designer Suzie McAdam‘s career really took off in 2011 when she appeared in Fergal Quinn’s Retail Therapy on RT?. Since then, she’s worked on many commercial and residential projects and recently launched her eponymous textile collection, inspired by Irish landscapes and wildlife.
Though her collection of prints and textiles is colourful, her house in Blackrock is decorated very simply, in monochromes and black and white patterns. The lines are sleek, rooms blend into each other seamlessly, and, though the house is small, the white expansive spaces and use of clever lighting across the multi-level floors create a trompe-l?oeil effect.
