The clever U-shape design of this Dublin city pad means that the house is spacious and flooded with light. Each room has a relaxed, lived-in feel, which interior designer Eoin Lyons created by mixing the owner’s own collection of furniture and antiques with fresh, modern pieces.

The real highlight of the house is the courtyard that sits at the heart of the home. “The first thing that everyone does when they first visit the house is to turn and look down the courtyard and garden,” says architect John Kelly of deBlacam and Meagher. Everything about this home is cool, yet comfortable – modern family life at its best.
