Our favourite cosy interiors buys from the autumn drops (for under €100)
11th Oct 2020
We’ve trawled through the latest autumn interiors collections for our favourite affordable buys, from rugs and blankets to adorable chef’s hats and candles.
It’s that time of year when the chilly evenings settle in suddenly, you start pulling out scented candles to give the room a bit of atmosphere and tuck soft blankets around yourself on the sofa.
We probably spend more time in and on our homes in the last three months of the year than we do in all the rest combined, which makes it the perfect time of year for a little interiors retail therapy.
Natural textures
When it comes to our homes, natural textures really help us to feel rested. They bring a cosy hue to a room, helping to ground it and make it feel secure, which is more important than ever as our homes become our sanctuary from the world.
From a simple little accordion coat hook to marbled veins tracing through a cloudy glass light, there are plenty of new interiors buys that maximise on texture and warmth.

Pattern Play
With the windows outside darkened so early, we need to find a little movement and fun in our interiors. Thankfully, this season sees lots of organic patterns that can be kept muted and simple or spiced up with a little bit of glitz, like those tealight holders from April and the Bear.
Strata flowerpot, €55, Article Dublin
Cup hanging lamp, €69.99, WOO . Design

Sweet Accessories
Once you’ve stocked up on all your main pieces, there should always be a little room for sweet little additions. This Crane teapot is the perfect compromise if you’ve obsessed over the Gucci wallpaper but can’t afford the price tag. Or the Zara Home mirror, it’s thin gold trim and unusual edging gives it an older, more detailed feel.
Søstrene Grene is getting ready to drop its first of two Christmas collections on October 22 and we had a sneak peek. There are lots to love on top of all the gorgeous festive buys, including this adorable ceramic egg holder.
Egg cup holder, €5.49, Søstrene Grene (available October 22)
Crane teapot, €20, Meadows & Byrne
Apron and chef’s hat, €9.99, H&M Home
Mirror with thin metal frame, €39.99, Zara Home
