Whether you’ve got €100 or €1,000, you’re sure to fall for one of the eleven coffee tables in our design edit.
Unlike almost anything else in your house, a coffee table has to sit in the middle of the room and therefore needs to look good from every angle. They can also quickly become dumping grounds too, for pens and bits of the Sunday papers, coins and the odd emptied battery.
Clear up and clear out the debris with the help of an incredibly chic coffee table from our edit.
Emily coffee table, €299, Pieces.ie
Made from powder-coated steel and a terrazzo tray, this gorgeous coffee table also has a matching chair, if you’re so inclined. It’s beautifully finished with little brass feet.
Lois natural coffee table, €299, Woo .Design
This light oak coffee table is perfect for a long and narrow living room and can hold a surprising amount while still remaining streamline and sleek.

Distinct coffee table, €1,455, Industry & Co
More architectural than your typical living room table, this coffee table was designed with Japanese minimalism in mind. Made of tavertine limestone in a silky sandy hue, it adds structure and dimension to a clean space.
Hadbjerg coffee table, €99, Jysk
Looking at least three times its price tag, the veneer tray insert of this Jysk coffee table can be flipped for an oak or marble effect finish.
Menu Kendzo plinth table, €1,799, Finnish Design Shop
Made of Carrera white marble, this sharp-lined table with very fixed edges toys with your expectations of a natural material.
Trioh coffee table, €295, Oriana B.
There are some excellent Irish companies digging up mid-century winners, including Oriana B with this stunning Johannes Andersen-designed Trioh 1960s coffee table.
Caryllon coffee table, price on request, The Design Seeker
Available with a green or blue wooden inlay top, there’s a wonderful playfulness to the Caryllon coffee table. Its curved shape and closeness to the floor hark back to its design inspiration — the daisy.
Aula, around €330, Made
This table nest is giving us serious 1970s vibes in the best way. Coupled with a burnt orange sofa it’s majorly retro, but swap the furnishings out for a more natural palette and the steel and glass design will elevate the space with a sophisticated calm.
XL table, €466, Nest
For something a little more understated, the sanded oak material of this circular coffee table is lifted by its angular legs and cut-out elements.
