From H&M’s latest designer collaboration to Kitri Studio’s first foray into homeware and a gorgeously colourful collection from The Designed Table, there are plenty of interiors options out there to help you spruce up your home.

H&M x India Mahdavi

Famous for their limited-edition homeware and fashion drops, H&M has teamed up with yet another iconic name for their most recent collaboration – this one with Paris-based interior designer and architect India Mahdavi.

Launching her own studio more than 20 years ago, Mahdavi has spent the best part of two decades cementing her status as the queen of colour – something that is clearly at play in her new collection. A testament to her love of vibrant, unconventional influences, key pieces in the exclusive line §1include a curated range of crafted ceramics and textiles in natural materials, such as plates and large serving bowls, cushion covers and a blanket.

Focusing on gradient colour plays, bright hues and out-of-focus graphics, her designs are inspired by the blinding colours you see when you close your eyes in front of the sun – conceived like “a wind of optimism in a world of uncertainty”.

“With this collection, H&M HOME has offered me the opportunity to spread a joyful palette of colours on an international scale,” Mahdavi said of the new line.

The H&M x India Mahdavi collection launched online and in selected stores today.

Kitri x Amuse La Bouche

Kitri’s first crossover into soft furnishings, their collaboration with sustainable homeware brand Amuse La Bouche is inspired by glamorous sun-soaked afternoons by the pool, with decidedly 70s vibes à la Slim Aarons photography from that era.

Together creating a capsule collection of cushion covers, napkins, table runners and tea towels that all come in reveresible designs, the whole idea is to offer as much diversity as possible when it comes to your tablescaping setups.

Think bold colours, retro prints with feminine details in the form of Amuse La Bouche’s signature ruffled edges. And in continuing with both brands’ focus on sustainability, each piece from the collection will be produced in small runs to avoid mass production and overconsumption.

The Designed Table

An Irish brand headed up by Tara O’Connor, The Designed Table only launched around this time last year. Still relatively new to the market, they’ve grown quite an impressive customer base in that time… though it’s not hard to see why; one look at their gorgeous inventory of linens and tablecloths will have you adding *everything* to basket.

Recently dropping their new spring collection, this season’s line features lots of standout pieces including a rainbow tablecloth and matching runner, a lemon print tablecloth (now available in a new extra-large round size) with matchin napkin and placemat and a bamboo placemat with a soft yellow or green borde amongst other things.

Prices start from €12 and range up to €280 for tablecloths in larger sizes. All pieces from the collection will are available to buy online at thedesignedtable.com or in Brown Thomas Dublin.
