Peppered with campy witticism, this rom-com series follows a 40-something real estate broker (Neil Patrick Harris) as he attempts to start his life over after his long-term partner ups and leaves.
If you haven’t already dipped your toe into the world of Only Murders in the Building, you need to get on it ASAP. We’re currently just over half of the way through season two, with episodes landing weekly on Disney+, and with Cara Delevingne and Amy Schumer joining Selena Gomez, Martin Short and Steve Martin, it’s maintaining the same level of appeal as the first time ’round.
Come on, don’t pretend you don’t want to see it. Based on a novel of the same name by Jenny Han, The Summer I Turned Pretty is an Amazon Original series that follows Belly Conklin as she’s about to turn 16 on a family vacation, with her friends, brothers Jeremiah and Conrad, and finding herself caught in a love triangle. Already renewed for a second season, there are seven episodes waiting for you on Amazon.
With ten episodes available to stream for free on the RTÉ Player, The Sex Lives of College Girls follows a group of 18-year-old freshmen roommates as they navigate their way through the highs and lows of college. Co-created by Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, these characters go through the ringer, and with season two currently in the works, we watch these young women grow into the new versions of themselves.
You may recognise Mae Martin from the latest season of The Flight Attendant or from their on-stage comedy stylings, but this semi-autobiographical romantic comedy series might just be their best work to date. Having co-written Feel Good with Joe Hampson, Martin stars alongside Charlotte Richie (Fresh Meat) as a recovering addict and rising star comedian that’s trying to get a hold of an all too complicated life.
