August 1

Unstable Season 2

In season two of Unstable, universally admired, eccentric, narcissist-adjacent biotech entrepreneur Ellis Dragon (Rob Lowe) lays out a series of challenges and mind games for his son Jackson (John Owen Lowe) to see if he has what it takes to succeed him as the heir to the Dragon empire but does a newcomer have other ideas?

August 7

Love Is Blind UK

The US version of the show has become a Netflix sensation, will the UK take live up to expectations? That awaits to be seen. Hosted by Emma and Matt Willis, the reality dating show will see British singles look for love and get engaged before they even meet their new partner in person. Over several weeks, the newly engaged couples will move in together, plan their wedding and find out if their physical connection matches the strong emotional bond they developed in the Pods. When their wedding day arrives, will real-world realities and external factors push them apart, or will they marry the person they fell blindly in love with? Two Irish contestants also make an appearance so keep an eye out for Conor Griffin from Dublin and Sabrina Egerton from Belfast.

The Umbrella Academy Season 4

Based on the comic series of the same name by Gerard Way, The Umbrella Academy first premiered in 2019 and follows a group of estranged siblings with superpowers who are reunited after the death of their father. Last season ended with a major twist: *spoiler warning* there’s a new timeline dictated by the family patriarch, Reginald (Colm Feore), and the siblings no longer have their powers. But that’s not the only oddity in this timeline, where the stakes are higher than ever before. Catch the fourth and final season on Netflix on August 8.

Emily In Paris Season 4: Part 1

Much like Bridgerton, Emily in Paris Season 4 will be split into two five-episode parts – part one premieres on Netflix on August 15 followed by part two on September 12. So, what can we expect from our favourite American abroad? After the dramatic events of Camille and Gabriel’s misbegotten wedding, Emily is reeling: She has strong feelings for two men, but now Gabriel’s expecting a baby with his ex, and Alfie’s worst fears about her and Gabriel have been confirmed. At work, Sylvie is forced to confront a thorny dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage, and the Agence Grateau team navigates personnel shakeups. Mindy and the band prepare for Eurovision, but when funds run dry, they’re forced to get thrifty. Emily and Gabriel’s chemistry is undeniable as they work together towards a Michelin star, but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they’ve dreamed of. Drama, drama, drama.

Only Murders in the Building Season 4

In season four of Only Murders in the Building, our amateur podcasting trio wrestles with the shocking events at the end of season three surrounding Charles’ stunt double and friend Sazz Pataki. Bad Monkey

Bad Monkey tells the story of Andrew Yancy (Vince Vaughn), who has been bounced from the Miami Police Department and is now a health inspector in the Keys. But after stumbling upon a case that begins with a human arm fished up by tourists, he realises that if he can prove murder, he’ll be back in. He just needs to get past a trove of Floridian oddballs and one bad monkey.

Epic in scope and intimate in tone, the story begins with a forbidden love and crescendos into a sweeping saga that journeys between Korea, Japan and America to tell an unforgettable story of war and peace, love and loss, triumph and reckoning. The first season has a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes so safe to say, a lot is riding on season two to deliver.

One Fast Move

One Fast Move is an action-adventure thrill ride about a young man down on his luck who seeks out his estranged father to help him pursue his dream of becoming a professional motorcycle racer. With the help of his small-town love interest and a motorcycle shop owner who moonlights as his mentor, he begins to break down the walls that his father’s absence had built up.

Jackpot!
