Monday, August 21
Bowie: The Man Who Changed the World, Sky Arts
Combining footage from interviews with the late, great David Bowie with contributions from those who knew him personally, this documentary celebrates the illustrious life of one of the greatest artists to ever grace the stage.

Derry Girls Season 3, Netflix
Season 1 and 2 were already on the streaming platform but Netflix has listened to our pleas and has finally added the last season of Derry Girls to its catalogue too. Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Nicola Coughlan, Louise Harland, Jamie-Lee O’Donnell and James Llewellyn reprise their roles as the troublesome group of teenagers we’ve come to know and love – joined by now BAFTA-winner Siobhán McSweeney as series antagonist Sister Michael, along with Peter Campion (Derry Girls’ answer to Fleabag‘s “hot priest”) and of course Tommy Tiernan too.

Invasion Season 2, Apple TV+
Back for a second season, Invasion is a sweeping, character-driven science fiction drama series that follows an alien invasion through different perspectives around the world. New episodes pick up just months later with the aliens escalating their attacks in an all-out war against the humans.

Greatest Days, Prime Video
Directed by Coky Giedroyc, Greatest Days follows a group of five school friends who have the night of their lives seeing their favourite boy band in concert. Twenty-five years later, their lives have changed massively but they’re brought together again when Rachel (Aisling Bea) wins tickets to see their beloved band’s reunion tour… in Athens. However, despite using lots of the band’s most famous tracks, this isn’t a Take That movie Bea will have you know.

Vacation Friends 2, Disney+
Picking up a few months after the end of the first film, this uproarious sequel finds newly married couple Marcus and Emily inviting their uninhibited besties Ron and Kyla – also newly married and with a new baby – to join them for a vacation when Marcus lands an all-expenses-paid trip to a Caribbean resort… but when Kyla’s incarcerated father Reese is released from San Quentin and shows up at the resort unannounced, things get out of control turning the friends’ perfect trip into total chaos.
