Derry Girls Season 3, Netflix

Season 1 and 2 were already on the streaming platform but Netflix has listened to our pleas and has finally added the last season of Derry Girls to its catalogue too. Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Nicola Coughlan, Louise Harland, Jamie-Lee O’Donnell and James Llewellyn reprise their roles as the troublesome group of teenagers we’ve come to know and love – joined by now BAFTA-winner Siobhán McSweeney as series antagonist Sister Michael, along with Peter Campion (Derry Girls’ answer to Fleabag‘s “hot priest”) and of course Tommy Tiernan too.

Picking up a few months after the end of the first film, this uproarious sequel finds newly married couple Marcus and Emily inviting their uninhibited besties Ron and Kyla – also newly married and with a new baby – to join them for a vacation when Marcus lands an all-expenses-paid trip to a Caribbean resort… but when Kyla’s incarcerated father Reese is released from San Quentin and shows up at the resort unannounced, things get out of control turning the friends’ perfect trip into total chaos.
