One of Ireland’s most celebrated plays, John B Keane’s classic masterpiece is a must-see. Argylle, in cinemas nationwide
From the twisted mind of Matthew Vaughn comes Argylle, a reality-bending, globe-encircling spy thriller starring Henry Cavil, John Cena, Ariana DeBose, Dua Lipa, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara and Samuel L Jackson amongst others. Bryce Dallas Howard is Elly Conway, the reclusive author of a series of best-selling espionage novels, whose idea of bliss is a night at home with her computer and her cat, Alfie. But when the plots of Elly’s fictional books – which centre on secret agent Argylle and his mission to unravel a global spy syndicate – begin to mirror the covert actions of a real-life spy organisation, quiet evenings at home become a thing of the past. I’ll be honest, this doesn’t look great but the stellar cast could be its saving grace.

The Edge of Love, Disney+
The Edge of Love is a 2008 British biographical romantic drama film directed by John Maybury. A beautifully drawn love story, the film revolves around two feisty, free-spirited women, Caitlin Thomas(Sienna Miller) and Vera Killick (Keira Knightley), Vera’s husband William Killick (Cillian Murphy) and the brilliant, charismatic poet Dylan Thomas (Matthew Rhys) who loves both women. By no means a biopic in the traditional vein, the story explores the collision of the bohemian underworld of war-torn London and the intimate complexities of two young couples whose lives and loves become dangerously intertwined.
