From the highly-anticipated third season of The Traitors to the newest chapter in the thrilling anthology series Goosebumps, here's our pick of the best in entertainment this week.

MONDAY

The Traitors Season 3, BBC One

The award-winning reality series hosted by Claudia Winkleman is back for a third season with a new group of strangers ready to play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust – all in the hope of winning up to £120,000. But who will make it through?

TUESDAY

Vow of Silence: The Assassination of Annie Mae, Disney+

This true crime docuseries examines the murder of Annie Mae Aquash – a Mi’kmaq woman from Nova Scotia, Canada, a mother of two daughters, a teacher and a revolutionary who fought for Indigenous rights in the 1970s and whose death went unsolved for almost 30 years. Set between the sweeping landscape of American politics in the volatile 70s and the present-day investigation by Annie Mae’s daughter to uncover secrets from the past, this is a fascinating story of murder, intrigue, love, and betrayal that contextualises Annie Mae’s story within the larger story of the struggle of Native and First Nations women in their own communities that continues even today.

WEDNESDAY

Don’t Die: The Man Who Wants To Live Forever, Netflix

How far would you go to live forever – or even just slow down the ageing process? This startling documentary by Chris Smith is told through intimate access to Bryan Johnson, a man who has dedicated his life to defying ageing. Don’t Die: The Man Who Wants to Live Forever dives into the controversial wellness practices one man is using to maintain youth and vitality and the effect this journey has on himself and those around him.

THURSDAY

The Upshaws, Netflix

Bennie Upshaw (Mike Epps), the head of a Black working-class family in Indianapolis, is a charming, well-intentioned mechanic and lifelong mess just trying his best to step up and care for his family – wife Regina (Kim Fields), their two young daughters (Khali Spraggins and Journey Christine) and firstborn son (Jermelle Simon), the teenage son (Diamond Lyons) he fathered with another woman (Gabrielle Dennis) – and tolerate his sardonic sister-in-law (Wanda Sykes), all without a blueprint for success. But the Upshaws are determined to make it work and make it to the next level, together.

SUNDAY

Goosebumps: The Vanishing, Disney+

The latest chapter of the thrilling anthology series, Goosebumps: The Vanishing premieres on Disney+ on January 10. The season begins when twins Devin and Cece Brewer are sent to spend a summer in Gravesend, Brooklyn, with their divorced dad. A threat is stirring, and they quickly realise that dark secrets are among them, triggering a chain of events that unravel a profound mystery. As they delve into the unknown, Devin, Cece and their friends – Alex, CJ and Frankie – find themselves entangled in the chilling tale of four teenagers who mysteriously vanished in 1994.
