For a long time, I resisted the protein pancake buzz but these indulgent ones will convert even the most staunchly anti-protein pow hater – except my husband, of course (see below).

1 Mash the banana loads, whisk in the egg white then add the protein powder, baking powder, cacao powder and zest.
2 Heat a non-stick frying pan, with a little oil over medium-high heat. Spoon in dollops of the pancake mix and cook for a couple of minutes either side. Serve with berries and yoghurt.
Tip: You need to be gentle when flipping these pancakes as they are a little more delicate than traditional pancakes.
