Kristen Stewart has finally found her person in Dylan Meyer and their love story is hella cute

Kristen Stewart is soon to be wed! Announcing that she’s engaged to long-term girlfriend, Dylan Meyer, in an interview with Howard Stern during the week, the actress confirmed that they’re “totally going to do it”. Get married, that is. 

“I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it. We’re marrying, it’s happening,” she told the radio host. Later discussing what her vision for the big day is, Stewart was purposefully vague on the details, though she did say she wanted to keep things local. “I want to stay home,” she noted. “I want to be in LA so everyone can come, and… I want it to be pretty chill. I don’t want anyone walking anyone down any aisles. Like, we’re just gonna stand, do vows.”

First romantically linked in the summer of 2019, the couple actually met on the set of a movie six years prior. Losing touch after the project wrapped, they didn’t reconnect until much later when Meyer showed up to a mutual friend’s birthday party. “The day that I met her, all bets were off. She rocked up at a friend’s birthday and I was like, ‘Where have you been and how have I not known you?’” Stewart told Stern in a previous interview a couple of years ago. 

Getting together soon after, the Twilight star claims that she knew Dylan was “the one” pretty immediately, admitting that she couldn’t “f*cking wait” to propose in that same interview with Stern. Copping to having been “sort of cagey” in other relationships, all that changed when she started dating Dylan and it’s obvious that the two are truly, madly, deeply in love. “When you know, you know,” Stewart continued before adding, “There is nothing like feeling sure about anything, because we don’t know anything. And that is the only thing you can feel like you know, is that if you’re in love with someone.”

Wedding Planning

Already knee-deep in wedding planning, the couple apparently has the *perfect* officiant in mind, with Stewart later revealing that they’d like a certain celebrity chef to do the honours. “We did hear that Guy Fieri from the Food Network officiates a lot of gay weddings. So, the idea of that man – that sweet, sweet spiky-headed man – coming to our wedding and officiating it, it just makes me laugh so much,” she joked.

Turns out word travels fast in Hollywood, and not only has Mr Fieri already heard about the couple’s wish for him to be involved… but he’s even agreed to it too. During a guest appearance on TODAY, the restaurateur surprised Stewart with a prerecorded video message. “Hey, Kristen, Guy Fieri here,” he opened. “I’ve heard through the Flavortown grapevine that you are looking for a sweet, spiky-haired officiant for your wedding. I’m all in,” he finished, later tweeting to say that it was a very legitimate offer.

Clearly thrilled at the news that he’d be down to make an appearance at the ceremony, Kristen was full of questions after watching his message. “Do you know where he lives?” she asked, turning to host Hoda Kotb. “What’s his address? I’m like, ‘Does he live in LA?’ We should talk about this.” 

To be quite honest, we’re excited about the fashion more than anything else – especially considering the fact that Kristen has been a Chanel ambassador for over eight years now. While there’s no saying that she’ll go for a Chanel number, or even a traditional white gown for that matter, her style on the Spencer press tour has definitely impressed, so we’re in for a treat either way.
