As the summer holiday ends and the months race on, the friends begin to realise that the school year will come with both its joys and its challenges. SATURDAY

Apple’s first German-language series, Where’s Wanda? is a dark comedy that tells the story of Dedo and Carlotta Klatt, who are desperate to locate their missing 17-year-old daughter Wanda, who disappeared months ago without a trace. When the police fail to find her, the family takes matters into their own hands, obtaining surveillance devices with the help of their tech-savvy son Ole. Disguising themselves as employees of an electrical company, they bug their neighbourhood and then half their suburb, finding out that behind closed doors, none of their neighbours are who they pretend to be.

SUNDAY

Chimp Crazy: Monkey Love Season 1, Sky Documentaries/NOW TV

Former nurse-turned-exotic-animal-broker Tonia Haddix, who refers to herself as the ‘Dolly Parton of chimps’, spends her days caring for animals in captivity. However, her limitless love for one chimpanzee spins into a wild cat-and-mouse game with authorities and an animal rights group. Through the experiences of Tonia and other “chimp moms”, Chimp Crazy reveals the bonds between owners and their highly intelligent great ape pets, the risks humans take when they raise these animals as members of their family, and the risks to the welfare of the animals themselves.
