Actress, writer, comedian, director, and producer — Sharon Horgan can be described as many things, but all-round legend is perhaps the most appropriate catch-all to sum up this Irish multi-hyphenate.
Throughout her lengthy career, Horgan has written, starred, and voiced many incredible characters, shows and films, and has co-founded her own production company, Merman. From appearing in Game Night alongside Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams to voicing Kathleen in the animated series Bob’s Burgers, her talent truly knows no bounds.

Created, written and starring Sharon Horgan and Rob Delaney, Catastrophe follows two singletons as they become pregnant after a weekend fling in London. Across four seasons, we follow them through pregnancy and watch their romance progress as they iron out the logistics of living with someone they’ve only just met. In true Horgan fashion, the show marries hilarity with poignancy and co-stars Carrie Fisher, Ashley Jensen and Mark Bonnar. All four seasons are on Netflix.

Focusing on middle-class parents and the everyday challenges they encounter, from the competitiveness of the morning school run to the sheer pandemonium of hosting a children’s party, Motherland gives an honest and amusing depiction of life as a modern-day parent to small kids.
Created by Sharon Horgan and starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Thomas Haden Church, Divorce tracks a middle-aged couple living in New York City as they decide to separate. As you might imagine, their dislike for each other often results in hilarious situations.
