Barna Woods because I love nature and walks.
If you could buy any building in your county, which would it be?
Love this question! I would buy the old Anglo Irish bank beside the city link bus station so I could turn it into a creative center/music school for people of all ages.
Where would you recommend for a first date?
For a first date I would highly recommend seeing if there is something on at The Shed – it’s just a really nice ice breaker location.

The Ardilaun Hotel because it’s just stunning and it always reminds me of my 18th birthday.

I think a kind heart, which I believe is second nature to 99.9 percent of Galwegians.
Who is the most iconic Galwegian?
Honestly I could not answer that fairly haha! There are so many unreal people both from my own community and within the arts.
Best thing a taxi driver has ever said to you?
“Sure it’s only up the road, are you sure you want to spend a fiver?” Haha! Taxi drivers are so sound in Galway, that’s what I mean about the kind hearts.

Best meal you’ve had in your county?
I may be vegan and sometimes even a bit of a foodie… but I can’t lie, nothing beats chips from Supermacs! I think Galway has the best Supermacs in Ireland so that’s where I’m going when I’m back!

Merlin Park Woods.
What’s your Galway secret?
Jungle Café – it’s hidden on Foster Street but it has such a great energy, amazing staff and cute aesthetic.
What’s the best club in Ireland you have ever been to?
I don’t have a favourite venue, but in terms of club nights / promoters, I loved 50:50 in Bow Lane and any of the Mo Cultivation events.
My favourite thing about Ireland is…
The scenery because I love being in nature, especially when I get away from city life and when the weather is unreal. Recently we were in West Cork for a show and because the sun was shining so hard, it honestly felt like an exotic holiday.
What’s the most exciting Irish plan you have this summer?
I just released my latest single ‘Go Down Low‘ which we teased during all the Irish festivals that I played this summer. The best crowd who got down low with us was definitely at All Together Now! I’ll be performing this Sunday at Electric Picnic with The X Collective, closing out a really busy festival season. So to be honest, I’m excited to rest after this!
What are you up to with work at the moment?
Enjoying finally having ‘Go Down Low‘ in the world, writing new music and in rehearsals for a Culture Night performance.
