Hijacked: Flight 73, Sky Documentaries

“Before Pan AM 73 – people went home alive from hijackings. But after that – the game changed.” That’s what Mike Thexton, a Flight 73 hostage, thinks anyway. This epic new feature documentary tells the tale of one of the most shocking hijackings of all time when Pan AM Flight 73 was stormed by palestinian terrorists as it sat on the tarmac of Karachi Airport in 1986. The 360 passengers aboard the plane, endured a terrifying 16-hour ordeal that resulted in 21 passengers being killed and many more injured. Hijacked: Flight 73 is the story of not just the day itself but also how it led to being one of the FBI’s biggest manhunts to date.
