THE MUST-LISTEN
The Motherload, available now wherever you get your podcasts
As always, there’s a lot going on at IMAGE. We’re only a few weeks out from one of our biggest nights of the year, the IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards. The Spring / Summer issue of IMAGE Interiors is hot off the press and on shelves now and we’re hard at work putting the final touches on the Summer issue of IMAGE Magazine. And there’s a new project we’ve, well, birthed, so to speak – The Motherload, hosted by IMAGE Editorial Director Dominique McMullan. The Motherload is a space where modern motherhood is explored with honesty, humour and heart. This is not about perfection – it’s about connection. It’s about sharing stories, celebrating the wins, and supporting each other through the tougher moments. It’s a place for you to know that, no, you are not imagining it, and no, you are not the only one. The Motherload is a community of sincere conversations, expert insights, a series of live events, a dedicated newsletter and shared stories on IMAGE.ie, plus weekly podcast episodes, dropping every Tuesday. Listen to the first two incredible episodes with Sinead O’Moore and Louise McSharry here or wherever you get your podcasts.
THE MUST-VISIT
RIXO at Kildare Village
Mark your calendar now; RIXO, the vintage-inspired brand beloved by the fashion set, is opening its first-ever Irish store in Kildare Village on Thursday, May 8. With an interior designed by Gemma McCloskey, founder of Cúpla studio and twin sister of RIXO co-founder Orlagh McCloskey, the space will have an Irish twist, paying homage to Ireland’s rich folklore and inspired by Celtic mythology. There will be markdown fashion, ready-to-wear pieces from the latest collections, the bridal collection, footwear and accessories plus exclusive one-off styles created specifically for the Kildare location – not to mention a series of events in the lead-up to opening day. “Bringing RIXO to Ireland, and to such a renowned luxury destination like Kildare Village, is a dream come true,” says Orlagh McCloskey, co-founder of RIXO. “As an Irish woman, it is incredibly special to open our first store here. We’re so excited to share the RIXO magic and brand experience with our Irish customers, and I can’t wait to welcome everyone through our doors.”
