This bijou home makes the most of its space, and is full of colourful touches.

A two-bedroom artisan cottage, 55 Kirwan Street Cottages is a small but well-maintained home. You enter into the living and dining space, which has original wooden flooring, a stove, built-in storage and shuttered windows.

This leads to the kitchen, which has wooden worktops and a white subway tile backsplash and simple white units, complementing the pops of colour the current owners have introduced through the walls and accessories such as the fridge. Although compact, there is plenty of storage in the units.

The main bedroom has wooden flooring and access to the rear yard via a glass door, which also lets in plenty of natural light.

The second bedroom also has rear access, and both spaces have wooden flooring. There is a shower room with a skylight ensuring the space is bright.

One of the highlights of this home is undoubtedly the roof terrace, accessed via a bright spiral staircase.

A well-sized space, its elevated position makes the most of sunny days, and as the home backs onto the grounds of the TUD Grangegorman Campus, it’s a relatively peaceful spot.

Located in the popular Stoneybatter with its many shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance, while there are Luas stops nearby at Grangegorman and Smithfield, providing access to both the Green and Red lines.
