If it’s peace and tranquillity you’re after, this beautiful little cottage in Ballina, Co Mayo will make your heart sing.

A lovingly restored 1700s era home nestled along the rugged Mayo coastline, The Cottage is privy to some of the most spectacular views around. Only a short walk from the ocean and the wild Atlantic coastline, the property stays true to its traditional roots while also incorporating more modern features.

Outside there is a large enclosed courtyard with patio area, ideal for entertaining friends and family during the warmer months as there is a picnic table and plenty of space for a barbeque. Step outside the walled garden, and you’re surrounded by nature on all sides with fields of lush green as far as the eye can see – a nature lover’s paradise! 

Situated right near Back Beach which overlooks Lacken Strand, Kilcummin village is also nearby as are The Kilcummin Heritage Loop Walks for when you fancy an adventure to blow the cobwebs off.
