Unsure where to start with your garden? Why not try this online class?

Led by one of Ireland’s leading gardeners, it’s a great way to arm yourself with the best knowledge to create your own beautiful outdoor space.

If the recent warm weather has inspired you to tackle your garden, you might be unsure of where to start. With countless plants to choose from, and so many factors to consider, from soil type to light conditions and maintenance, it can be tempting to just decide that gardening isn’t for you.

But a beautiful garden can be such a source of joy, whether it’s spending a few hours working with your hands, or enjoying the summer blooms on a sunny afternoon. We’re always reminded of this when we visit a spectacular garden, such as Hunting Brook Gardens in Co Wicklow which provided the backdrop for the fashion shoot in the Summer issue of IMAGE.

IMAGE Summer 2023

The owner and brains behind this gorgeous garden, Jimi Blake, runs a monthly online masterclass where he shares his extensive knowledge and walks you, month-by-month, through how to create an incredible garden.

From creating a planting scheme, to working with shady spots, and planning how to have colour year-round, by the end you’ll feel confident in your skills, and know what’s best for your space.

There is also the opportunity to ask questions, see behind the scenes at Hunting Brook Gardens, and each session is recorded so you can watch multiple times to give yourself a refresher, should you need it.

Find out more at huntingbrookgardens.com, where you can also find information about visiting the gardens.
