We’ve got taste: Here’s what IMAGE staffers have their eye on this season
At IMAGE headquarters, we're welcoming the cosy season with open arms (while wrapped in a velvety throw). Whether you're looking for golden mood lighting, comfy and chic jumpers, or the best sweet treats to nibble on in with a cuppa, here are our favourite finds at the moment.

Admittedly, I’m not a huge fan of autumn but leaning into the cosiness of the season definitely helps me romanticise the dark evenings and less-than-ideal weather. For me, this time of year is all about warm lighting, sumptuous knits and sweet treats. The big light is the first to go so candles and lamps of various shapes and sizes are a must – I dot them around my bedroom to create a golden-hued cave to retreat to post-work.
I love the changing palette of the leaves and try to reflect that in my outfit choices too, favouring shades of deep chocolate or maroon (very à la mode right now). As for my favourite sweet treat? I simply cannot say no to anything with chocolate or peanut butter which is why I love the KIND bars so much. Great with a cuppa!

Confident, classy, and comfortable – the three C’s I try my best to live my life by. There’s nothing better than feeling elegant and put together as you go through the day, especially as we enter into the winter months when it’s easy to slip into ennui. A/W fashion is the most elegant style (in my opinion), and I can’t wait to get my hands on a long, dark chocolate-coloured coat, a burgundy bag and a pair of knee-high boots, classic staples for the colder season. However, I am a comfy girl at heart, and there’s nothing I love more than winding down at the end of the day, curling up with a good book, a cup of tea, and indulging in my favourite sweet treat, KIND’s Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt bar.

There is nothing I love more in this world than comfort. Well, maybe the Milk Chocolate Latte Protein Bar from KIND Snacks. But comfort is next in line! Think cosy knits, chunky boots, and oversized coats. I am all over it. As I write this, I am curled up by the fire (yes, I really am!) in the cosiest striped knitted hoodie from M&S and my Ugg Tazz Platform Slippers. Both are essentials in my autumn/winter wardrobe. I also love that I don’t have to change out of my Uggs before leaving the house!
But, if I was going somewhere that required more functional footwear, these chocolate brown Chelsea Boots from Birkenstock would be my go-to. I’m not the proud owner of them just yet but before the end of the month, they will be mine! The final piece of the puzzle has to be the cutest set of autumnal bedding from Next. No room is safe in my house when it comes to seasonal decor. My mother is the queen of decorating and she has created the perfect autumnal hideaway for us. There are pumpkins, candles, and lots of little forest friends dotted around. It is perfection in my eyes!

Right now, I’m going through a “green” phase, dotting my house with a forest-shade throw and cushions, and upgrading my laptop case to a jade-hued crocodile pleather, so, naturally, this emerald obsession has spilled into my wardrobe as well. I’ve recently spotted this olive oversized mohair jumper on H&M which can be mixed and matched with leggings, jeans or a leather skirt for A/W wear.
I’ve also had my eye on chocolatey browns and rich tans to warm up my style for the cosy season – like these burgundy chunky loafers from Schuh and cognac leather belt with gold detailing from Tommy Hilfiger. As far as setting the right ambiance, my favourite candle at the moment is Turf by The Home Moment and my go-to sweet treat is the KIND Hazelnut Dark Chocolate bar, both of which are perfectly paired with a night on the sofa watching a spooky film, a brew of hot cocoa in hand.
