Starring Colin Firth, Toni Collette, and Sophie Turner, this limited series centres around American novelist Michael Peterson, who was convicted for the murder of his second wife in 2003. Based on a documentary series initially released in 2004, the incredibly intriguing dramatisation will kick off with a three-episode premiere and continues with weekly instalments.
Along for the Ride, Netflix
A YA novel brought to life, this Netflix Original is set the summer before college and follows Auden as she spends the summer with her father (Dermot Mulroney) in the small seaside town of Colby. Falling into step with fellow insomniac Eli, the pair set out to try new things and find new versions of themselves before the rest of their lives begin. From the screenwriters of To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, this movie is a carefree teen flick that you can enjoy at any age.
How I Met Your Father, Disney+
If you’ve still got a HIMYM shaped hole in your heart, this 2022 revamp will be just what you need. Hilary Duff takes on the role of Sophie, who’s recounting the story of how she met her son’s father. Set in the not too distant future, the sitcom introduces us to the close-knit gang as they fall in and out of love in the age of the dating app. Ready to return to Maclaren’s Pub?
Senior Year, Netflix
When the head of the high school cheerleading squad wakes up from a 20 year coma following a stunt gone wrong, there’s only one thing on her mind; becoming prom queen. Now 37 years old, the would-be teen (played by Rebel Wilson) returns to a much more woke iteration of the school she left and has to re-learn the ropes of how to be popular.
The Wilds season two, Amazon Prime Video
A dystopian teen drama centred around high school students forced into survival mode after a plane crash, The Wilds season one included quite the intriguing twist. Some of the teens are part of a social experiment engineered by the head of the women’s empowerment programme. Season two is set to introduce a parallel island of teenage boys.

Following on from the resounding success of Normal People, this Sally Rooney adaptation centres on two college students, Frances and Bobbi, who find themselves unexpectedly entangled with an older married couple, Nick and Melissa. Directed by Lenny Abrahamson and starring Alison Oliver, Sasha Lane, Joe Alwyn and Jemima Kirke, we quite literally cannot wait.

If you haven’t already seen season one of The Flight Attendant, you need to binge it right now, this very second. Starring Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory, 8 Simple Rules) as – you guessed it – a flight attendant, the second season differs from the first in that she has given up drinking and is trying to get her life back on track. Now required to act as an asset for the CIA, things get out of hand fast.

Fans of Stranger Things have been waiting a long, long, long time for a return to the Upside Down and after three long years, it’s almost time. The official synopsis says that following the Battle of Starcourt, the gang are separated for the first time as they navigate the complexities of high school. “A new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.” The first batch of episodes land on 27 May, with the rest coming on 1 July.
