3 ways to style leopard print (with pieces you already own)

3 ways to style leopard print (with pieces you already own)

Leopard print has taken over as the internet's latest style obsession. Also a favourite with 90s It Girl Kate Moss, it's unfadingly cool, and, surprisingly wearable too.

With the mob wife aesthetic still rampant on TikTok, interest in leopard print has skyrocketed as a result. For those of you new to animal print, don’t worry, styling it isn’t as scary as it might seem… in fact, you can probably wear it with most of the things you already own.

Adding instant edge to even the simplest of outfits, it goes with everything from all-black to your favourite denim and black boots.

Still lacking inspiration? Here are three ways to style leopard print this season.

With a white tee and jeans

If your coat is this fabulous, there’s really no need for the underlying layers to try and compete. Keep it simple with a white tee and jeans – it’s a classic combo for a reason. A change of footwear (swap trainers for heels) will bring you from day to night.

With a cosy knit and oversized bow

Leopard print trousers come in all shapes and sizes from leggings to jeans to wide-leg slacks, and I love them all. Damson Madder’s take on animal print is a favourite with the fashion set – beloved for their incredible quality and surprising versatility. Take a leaf out of  Nathalie’s book and pair yours with a cosy knit, a trench coat and an oversized bow.

With a pop of colour

For those who lean more towards the rainbow than monochrome, leopard print works incredibly well with bright shades. Clashing prints can be tricky to get right so block colour is a good place to start.
