4 ways to style leather trousers this season

Payday still seems miles away, so here are a few ways to style leather trousers with items you probably already have in your existing wardrobe.

We’ve already established that leather trousers are a wardrobe staple… but what should you wear them with? Effortlessly cool and super versatile, leather trousers are the MVP of autumn/winter dressing. Sleek, sophisticated and extremely easy to style, one good pair will take you from work to weekend with just a few simple outfit tweaks.

Wear with knitwear

Take a leaf out of Elsa Hosk’s book and pair your leather trousers with a chunky oversized knit. The varying textures adds interest to an outfit even if it’s monotone like Hosk’s… and with temperatures dropping and winter making its presence known, you’ll be glad of the extra layers.

Wear with a blazer

A tried and tested way to feel put together (with minimal effort), blazers also work really well with leather trousers. Wear with a white tee underneath or a lacy bralette for a more glamorous take on the classic combo.

Wear with runners

Runners are your best friend for day-to-day comfort. Anything goes, but ugly dad-style trainers are all in these days so the chunkier and more visually offensive, the better.

With more leather

Double denim is a thing, so why not double leather? Follow Courtney Smith’s lead and opt for a belted silhouette that cinches you in at the waist, or go full rock chic and pair your leather pants with a distressed leather jacket and your favourite vintage band tee.
