One of the featured dancers in the recent Barbie movie, Adam Fogarty’s star is on the rise. A fan of elevated street style and mixing affordable pieces with luxury staples, his aesthetic is the epitome of cool casual. Here he shares a week in his wardrobe.
MONDAY
Mondays for me are typically my planning and organising day which means one thing.. my coffee run is essential. Today I’m wearing a full Zara look – a long sleeve-striped top with cargo shorts and mules for comfort. If I’m dressing for comfort, I love to elevate the look by accessorising and my Prada sunglasses are one of my favourite pieces. This is a look that I know I’ll be comfortable in for the day, while still feeling good when running around, doing emails or creating content which is key.
TUESDAY
Today I’m out for dinner and headed to a concert which is my favourite kind of evening. If I was to describe my style I would say it is elevated street style, wearing affordable and quality pieces that I usually mix in with a luxury staple item – such as a designer trainer or t-shirt. I’m wearing my Mugler jeans from the Mugler x H&M collection. I had the pleasure of attending the launch in London and these jeans hold some great memories while also making me feel super confident. I paired the jeans with my Essentials oversized tee and Off-White trainers.
WEDNESDAY
It’s premiere day today and this look is one of my absolute favourites. I’m channelling my Kenergy in this 2-piece suit from Zara’s Barbie collection. I worked on the Barbie movie as a dancer which we filmed last summer in London and getting to see the movie is just so exciting. There is nothing more fulfilling as a performer than seeing your hard work come together on the big screen.
THURSDAY
Today is content day. It’s Thursday and almost the weekend so I’m feeling colourful. Today I’m wearing my favourite cap I picked up in LA at Melrose Trading Post, a Zara flannel and a pair of Dior trainers. I help shoot content for my family business Navan Sofa Factory and wearing colourful pieces I love definitely gives me inspiration when it comes to ideas for content creation.
FRIDAY
Today I’m teaching dance workshops and judging a competition. I’m wearing a Sandro t-shirt, H&M joggers, my Zara vintage leather biker jacket and my absolute favourite Lanvin trainers to elevate the look. It’s going to be a long day so, again, comfort is very important. I packed a change of clothes for my classes in my Louis Vuitton duffle which is one of my favourite items. It was one of my first-ever designer purchases back in 2015 and it is still serving me well after many flights, rehearsals and trips!
SATURDAY
It’s Saturday an it’s festival time. This is my first ever festival so I wanted to make a statement with my look while still staying true to my personal style. My glasses are from Wornwell Vintage in the Penneys Dundrum store, the shirt is Bershka which I DIYed myself and the same Zara cargo shorts. I originally purchased these beautiful ASOS desert boots for Coachella 2020 which never went ahead, so I’m glad they’re finally getting their moment. Honestly this look really came together and made me feel so confident.
SUNDAY
It’s Sunday funday! I’m off for the day and doing a little bit of shopping/grabbing lunch in Dublin. My linen shirt is from H&M and I paired it with oversized jeans from Zara, my favourite beige Birkentstock Boston clogs and this beautiful Isabel Marant cap from Brown Thomas. Typically I’m more extroverted with my outfits but there’s something so satisfying about wearing a more simplified classic look from time to time, again adding the cap for that street style vibe.
