All you need is a light sweater: Celebrate an Irish spring with these 5 pastel knitted co-ords

We cannot get enough of knitwear sets at the minute, particular in these ice-cream shades.

Katie Holmes might have kicked off the knitted co-ords trend with her matching cashmere bra and cardi set, but we’re all still very much into matching knitwear this January.

As we (finally) veer into spring, we might be putting our heavy coats away but comfort is still king. And there is nothing more comfortable or easier to slip on than a knitted co-ord: there is basically zero decision making in it and yet you still look put together at the end of it.

All the new highstreet Spring collections feature knitted co-ords in pastel shades, moving away from the deep caramels and greys of winter. From cropped tops and cardigans to woolly skirts and long-line sweaters, here’s just a taste of the knitted co-ords you can find on the high street right now.

Cos

A very sleek and feminine take on matching knits, this lemon-yellow colour block skirt and top can easily be worn as separates.

& Other Stories

If Clueless was going to get a 2021 remake (and based on the number of remakes at the minute, it could happen), guaranteed this would get Cher’s wardrobe robot’s seal of approval.

River Island

A more refined take on sweats, this slouchy duo in a bubblegum pink is ideal for mooching around the house, or pop on a chunky block heel for when we all eventually get released.

Zara

There are matching duos and then there are matching trios. This Zara set is super comfy but the bell-bottom sleeve of the cardigan gives it a little something extra.

Mango

A fun spin on the Aran-style knit, the chunky wool of this Mango number contrasts nicely with the cropped cut.
