5 Brilliant Budget Mascaras That Cost ?10 (Or Less)

Many women will tell you that the one item they must have in their beauty bags is a mascara. The eyes are the windows to the soul and that all-important flick of mascara frames your face, enhances your peepers and pulls together your entire look in a few strokes. And the good news is that whether you want your lashes defined, lengthened or plumped, a solid mascara doesn’t have to cost the earth; here’s our pick of the best five, all for €10 or under.

MAYBELLINE GREAT LASH WATERPROOF MASCARA, €7.49

This one stays put and does not budge. The lashes look very defined and the gel in the waterproof formula helps the curve hold in the lash.

RIMMEL VOLUME COLOURIST MASCARA,??9.99

This one is perfect for those that prefer a natural look and want to avoid clumpy eyes as the day goes on. Plus, you can up the ante at nighttime by adding an extra coat or two if you wish. Another bonus is that it comes off very easily with a cleanser, so there won’t be a panda eye in sight the next morning.

COLLECTION FAST STROKE DEFINING MASCARA, €3.99

This one is great for lash separation; the eyes look lengthened and defined and the spiked brush is ideal for those tiny bottom lashes too.

L?OREAL PARIS SUPERSTAR MASCARA, €9.99

This mascara is the only dual ended budget mascara that I found doesn’t dry the lashes out. First you apply?the thickening primer, and after around 60 seconds apply the black top coat. My lashes looked smooth and very thick.

BARRY M LASH VEGAS BLACKEST BLACK MASCARA, €9.99

10169664

The spiral-shaped brush is designed to separate, define and reach the smallest of lashes all while delivering serious volume. My lashes were clump-free and full; this was my favourite in terms of volume.
