Beauty collabs are far from all created equal, am I right? There are some I’d happily pass by and some I’d immediately pre-order. Here are some I’d plump for…
Look left. Now look right. See that? That’s the mountain of beauty collaborations coming at you from all angles. Where should your hard-earned cash go? To ones that work, ones that are backed by legitimate industry professionals and to ones that will leave you feeling like you got your money’s worth. The following three, I believe, tick all those boxes.
Nikki Make-up X Sweed Lashes
Anyone who’s a regular reader of my Image.ie pieces will be aware of my deep obsession with anything Nikki Wolff does. I live by her Instagram, and when I saw she was releasing lashes with Sweed Lashes (the owner of which I met once and was totally charmed by), I had my debit card in my hand in the blink of a distinctly un-lashed eye.

Who wouldn’t trust a former British Vogue Editor-in-Chief when it comes to beauty recommendations? Boots No7 have collaborated with Alex on a range of Christmas sets that are budget friendly and you could legitimately give to any woman.

Though it’s not new, I’m still buying bits and pieces from Alessandra Steinherr’s Primark range. Affordable skincare that works was her goal, and it was very much achieved. I particularly love her resurfacing pads and the incredible lip gloss that goes over every matte lipstick I have.
